Seattle Public Library
The Seattle Public Library has a sole mission to bring people, information and ideas together to enrich lives and build community. There is more to do at the Library than you might ever imagine!
Sure, you can find a book or do some research. But don’t stop there. The Library is overflowing with ideas, information, activities and services.

Smithsonian Libraries
At the center of research across the Smithsonian are the specialized branches and librarians of the Smithsonian Libraries.The network of 20 specialized research libraries that make up the Smithsonian Libraries provide the Institution’s museums and research centers with resources and services that are as diverse and deep as the collections, exhibits, and scholarship they support.

Biodiversity Heritage Library
The Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL) is a consortium of natural history and botanical libraries that cooperate to digitize the legacy literature of biodiversity held in their collections and to make that literature available for open access and responsible use as a part of a global “biodiversity commons.”

World Reader
Worldreader is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Barcelona, London and Accra. Its mission is to create lifelong readers every in the world, similar to that of ours. The deploy technologies in handheld devices to reach out to schools, libraries, homes and accross the internet. Having more connections with publishing houses, they collect relevant books on the kindle and exchange for a gift donation of some few dollars. If you ever want to read on your smartphone and tablet anywhere with internet connection, try their mobile reading platform on it. Its only available on mobile.

Open Library
Funded in part by a grant from the California State Library and the Kahle/Austin Foundation, Open Library have a goal of one web page per every book ever published. They believe its achievable. Visit their site to add books, read help correct typos. It is an open project.

The Balm Library
Established in 1948 the Balme Library is the main library of the University of Ghana. The Library provides excellent facilities and products. Products include reference materials, text books, journal databases, study carrels, library instruction. The library has an online off-campus resources.

American Libraries Archives
The American Libraries collection includes material contributed from across the United States. Institutions range from the Library of Congress to many local public libraries. As a whole, this collection of material brings holdings that cover many facets of American life and scholarship into the public domain. Significant portions of this collection have been generously sponsored by Microsoft, Yahoo!, The Sloan Foundation, and others.

MIT OpenCoursesWare
MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW) is a web-based publication of virtually all MIT course content. OCW is open and available to the world and is a permanent MIT activity. Through OCW, educators improve courses and curricula, making their schools more effective; students find additional resources to help them succeed; and independent learners enrich their lives and use the content to tackle some of our world’s most difficult challenges, including sustainable development, climate change, and cancer eradication.

Open Michigan
Open.Michigan encourages researchers, learners, and instructors to maximize the impact and reach of their scholarly work through open sharing. In other words, you create and they help you share. They are not an accrediting body and do not grant degrees or certificates nor provide access to U-M faculty. Users must follow the guidelines described in the privacy and terms of use statement.
